Special Edition Publications

     Rather than producing a separate publication to commemorate a significant anniversary, some organizations opt to prepare a special anniversary edition of their newsletter, membership directory or monthly magazine. In this manner, all interested parties can receive a history of the organization, while keeping some of the production costs down. Furthermore, income generated from advertising sales can help to defray the costs for developing the chronicle.

A Special Edition Membership Directory
     The first forty pages of this membership directory features a history chronicle that celebrates the centennial anniversary of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). Instead of printing a separate commemorative chronicle folio book, the NJSCPA was able to use its advertising revenues to cover the cost for preparing this special edition, hard-cover membership directory.

A Special Insert for the Membership Magazine
     In celebrating its centennial anniversary, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) hired our firm to prepare a hard-cover history chronicle folio book that documented the founding and evolution of this professional association. The book was ultimately offered for sale to members.
     To complement this volume, we also developed a condensed version of the history book that was included as a supplement to the PICPA’s magazine, and distributed to all members. Additionally, we prepared a historic videotape presentation about the PICPA that was featured at its centennial anniversary dinner gala.

A Special Edition of the Company Newsletter     When Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM) celebrated its centennial anniversary, we prepared a 96-page commemorative history chronicle book that documented the company's history. We also prepared a special edition of the company's newsletter that presented this history in a condensed format. The newsletter was distributed to each of the company's insureds, as well as to business partners and affiliates.
